Two-time world champion Peter Gilchrist will once again be Singapore’s trump card in Palembang, where he is expected to defend his gold medal in the English billiards singles.

While Gilchrist is a cut above his rivals, the same cannot be said of Marvin Lim and Tommy Ang, who will find it difficult to retain their snooker doubles title against the fancied Thais.
