Yapp tied for third in Asian 9-ball event

TAIPEI National pool player Aloysius Yapp lost 5-8 to Japan’s Lo Li Wen in yesterday’s semi-final of the Asian 9-ball Championship.

The 19-year-old Singaporean, who clinched the World Junior Pool Championship last year, finished joint-third alongside Taiwanese Chang Jung-lin at the Ji- Hsien Pool Club in New Taipei City.
